The Galaxy S8 will remind you to clean up the camera lens

Samsung DeX which was launched yesterday in an unpacked event is now up for Pre-Orders for $149.99 on Samsung’s Official Website.

Pre-orders started today for Samsung’s newest smartphones, the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus, both of which are set to hit the USA market on April 21. All four carriers are going to be selling the two devices, as well as B&H Photo and Best Buy – both of which will offer unlocked models. Moreover, a year ago the 12 MP camera that found its way in the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge uses two sensor models – either Samsung’s own S5K2L1 ISOCELL unit, or a piece by Sony, marked as IMX260.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 has finally been revealed to much excitement with its stunning specs and latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

The Galaxy S8 features near bezel-less screen and no physical home button. Which included the Galaxy S6, Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S7 in the past few years.

A Microsoft employee will be there to unbox it for you (we love doing that ourselves), connect to Wi-Fi (in store, which you’ll probably not use again) and install app – yes, Microsoft apps.

USA -based IT news outlet Recode said that the Galaxy S8 shows how much Apple falls behind smartphone design trends.

Although Microsoft competes with Samsung with its own Windows smartphones, the two vendors have buddied up in the past when it comes to Microsoft software on Samsung devices. And since Microsoft’s apps do work with DeX, it means that the Microsoft stores can show off this functionality for users. These models will be released on April 21 and sold via the Microsoft retail stores.

“The Galaxy S8 is our testament to regaining your trust by redefining what’s possible in safety and marks a new milestone in Samsung’s smartphone legacy”, Koh said. It’s now unclear whether Microsoft will be offering just an unlocked Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, or offer variants for all of the United States carriers.
